Rotation Of A Resident (ROAR) Program

PROJECT OBJECTIVE   

  • To sensitize postgraduate students (MD/MS/MDS) to various health issues of tribals in the region.  

  • To expose postgraduate students (MD/MS/MDS) to various aspects of Telemedicine in healthcare delivery.  

  • To orient them towards promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services being provided by various healthcare professionals under the National Health Mission. 

     

     

PROJECT OUTCOME 

AIIMS Jodhpur has taken an initiative to provide a unique learning opportunity for the residents in the following ways:

 

  • Preparing residents for health system integration:

Postgraduate students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the health issues faced by tribal populations of the Sirohi district. They will appreciate the unique challenges and disparities in tribal healthcare. Resource poor setting will enable them for holistic approach towards healthcare delivery.

 

  • Exposure to Telemedicine services:

Residents will experience various aspects of telemedicine and its applications in delivery of healthcare in remote & tribal areas
