Hub & Spoke Model – Telemedicine Services
Indigenous Healers act as a vital link between tribal communities and government healthcare services. As trusted community figures, they serve as the first point of contact for health concerns in remote tribal areas. Within the Hub & Spoke model, they enable early identification of cases and ensure timely referral to STHR facilities. They support continuity of care through telemedicine by connecting patients to specialized healthcare hubs.
Their integration strengthens referral systems, improves healthcare access, and promotes culturally sensitive care in tribal regions.
